Kaeme seeks to build loving families, one child at a time. We break down the barriers that prevent orphaned or abandoned children from leaving institutions and joining a loving family.
What We Do:
As part of this process, Kaeme staff work hand-in-hand with the Ghanaian Department of Social Welfare to survey orphanages country-wide as part of the Care Reform Initiative. These visits capture essential information about each child’s history, health, and welfare. This partnership uses the resultant profiles to reunite children with their families or to place them in other family-based care.
